Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is an American feature film blending elements of action, horror and science fiction. It is the sixth and final installment in the original Resident Evil film series, which is based on the popular video game franchise developed by Capcom, which began in 1996. The movie is written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, who directed four of the five previous films, and has written the sreenplays for each film. The movie stars franchise favorite Milla Jovovich, once again reviving the role of zombie ass-kicker, Alice Abernathy. The movie also stars Iain Glen as Doctor Isaacs, Ali Larter as Claire Redfield, Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker, Ruby Rose as Abigail and Ever Anderson as the Red Queen. The movie was produced by Screen Gems, Impact Pictures, Don Carmody Productions and Davis-Films in association with Constantin Film International. It premiered in Japan on December 25th, 2016. It premiered in the United States on January 27th, 2017.
