Resident Alien is an American comic book limited series of the science fiction and comedy genres. It was published by Dark Horse Comics and ran for three standard issues from April-July, 2012. The series was preceded by a one-shot zero issue. The title was written by Peter Hogan with artwork, coloring, and lettering by Steve Parkhouse. It was edited by Philip R. Simon. The main character of the book is Harry Vanderspeigle, who is an alien masquerading as a human and trying to live the quiet life in the town of Patience. When the town's resident physician died under mysterious services, Harry is pulled away from his peaceful isolation and thrust into the lives of the local townies. He'd rather be fishing.
