Reno is a fictional underworld gangster featured in comic book titles published by Marvel Comics. He is part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and is associated with the X-Men family of titles. Reno was introduced in Wolverine, Volume 2 #38 in April, 1991 in a story titled "See Venice & Die!".
Reno was a gangster in the employ of a crime boss named Sally. Along with his partner, Molokai, he was tasked with killing two people in Venice Beach, California.
Unfortunately, Molokai and he targeted the wrong family and inadvertently caused the deaths of Doctor and Mrs. Lee - the parents of Jubilation Lee. After finally learning the truth about these men, Jubilee spent years seeking revenge against them.
Marvel Cinematic Universe[]
Reno is a fictional drug dealer featured on the 2017 television series Inhumans, which is part of the shared continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Played by actor Michael Trotter, he first appeared in episode three of the series, "Divide and Conquer". Reno and his partners, Jen and Ted operated an illegal marijuana farm in the forests of Honolulu, Hawaii. The three came upon an injured Inhuman known as Karnak, which caused Reno great anxiety as he suspected that he might be an undercover cop, or perhaps someone from a rival cartel. Jen pleaded Karnak's case to stay and recover with them, and Reno lost out on the vote.
