Rembrandt "Crying Man" Brown is a fictional musician featured in the Fox Network television series Sliders. Played by actor Cleavant Derricks, he was introduced in the series pilot episode and appeared in all 87 episodes of the series.

- Actor Cleavant Derricks is the only actor from the series to appear in all 87 episodes.
- Cleavant's twin brother, Clinton Derricks-Carroll, also played alternate variations of Rembrandt Brown in three different episodes; "The King is Back", "Greatfellas" and "The Prince of Slides".
- It is unclear whether or not Rembrandt Brown survived his ill-fated solo slide in his efforts to launch a bio-weapon against the Kromagg invaders. This is due to the series finale ending on a cliffhanger thus leaving the plotlines unresolved. [2]
