Reginald "Pop" Merrill is a fictional business owner and a character featured in the works of horror author Stephen King. He was introduced as a secondary antagonist in the short story "The Sun Dog", which was published in the anthology novel Four Past Midnight. A version of the character also appeared as a main character in season two of the television series Castle Rock on Hulu. He was played by actor Tim Robbins in the series.
Biography[]
Reginald "Pop" Merrill hailed from Castle Rock, Maine. He was a former solder who owned an antiques shop called Emporium Galorium. He had adopted his two nephews, John and Chris after his sister was murdered by her husband. He later adopted two Somali children named Abdi and Nadia Howlwadaag.
