Biography[]

Refractions of Dawn was a member of the Than-Thre-Kull species of Skan-Ska-Re. She was also a starship pilot and a member of the High Guard of the Systems Commonwealth holding the rank of 1st Lieutenant.

Refractions of Dawn was serving aboard the Andromeda Ascendant under Captain Dylan Hunt during the final days of the Systems Commonwealth. The ship picked up a distress beacon originating from the Hephaistos System indicating that the Nietzschean population were being threatened by a rogue black hole. Dawn piloted the Andromeda through slipstream, but when they arrived, she quickly discovered that the Nietzscheans had baited them into a trap. Facing off against an entire armada of ships, Dylan Hunt ordered all ship personnel to evacuate. Refractions of Dawn respectfully disobeyed Hunt's order, citing that he would need a good pilot if he ever expected to get the ship out of the crossfires. Dylan didn't like having his orders questioned, much less disobeyed, but he respected Dawn's valor in the face of potential destruction. As it turned out, Hunt's first officer Gaheris Rhade - a Nietzschean, betrayed the crew of the Andromeda and fired a blast from his Force lance into Dawn's chest, killing her. [1]

Notes & Trivia[]

  • Dawn's native language was that of her people, the Than-Three-Kull, but she was also fluent in English, often times mixing the two together during times of duress.
