Red Tornado is a fictional robot character and a superhero featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He was created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Dick Dillin and first appeared in Justice League of America, Volume 1 #64 in August, 1968. The character has gone on to become a member of both iterations of the Justice League of America as well as Young Justice and the short-lived adventure team Primal Force.
