Rebirth of Mothra III is a Japanese feature film of the science fiction and adventure genres. It is the third installment in the Mothra film series of the late 1990s, which is part of the Heisei period. It is a spin-off franchise of the larger Godzilla film series. The movie was directed by Okihiro Yoneda with a script written by Masumi Suetani. It was produced by Toho Company, Ltd. and premiered in Japan on December 12th, 1998.

- Mothra, or Mosura, and all related concepts were created by director Ishirô Honda and screenwriter Shin'ichi Sekizawa. Mosura first appeared in the original Mothra feature film from 1961.
