Rebecca Walters is a fictional publicist & murder victim and a supporting character featured in the Scream film series. She appeared in the 2011 sequel film Scream 4 and was played by actress Alison Brie.
Biography[]
Rebecca Walters was a publicist who worked for Sidney Prescott. She managed Sidney's press tour to promote her new book, Out of Darkness. When a second string or murders began cropping up in Woodsboro, California, Rebecca pressured Sidney to take advantage of the opportunity and promised her further book deals. Sidney was offended by Rebecca's ghoulish intentions in light of serial murders that were still occurring and fired her. Rebecca was murdered in the parking garage of the Woodsboro Community Hospital by Ghostface, who stabbed her in the stomach, then threw her body off the roof of the building where it landed on a news truck.
