Re-Animator is an American comic book limited series of the horror genre. It is based on the 1985 sci-fi/horror film Re-Animator by Empire Pictures. The movie in turn, was based on the 1922 short story, "Herbert West - Reanimator" by author H. P. Lovecraft. The comic series was published by Malibu Comics under their Adventure Comics imprint, and ran for a total of three issues from October, 1991 to April, 1992. It was written by Steven Philip Jones with artwork by Christopher Jones and lettering by Joseph Allen.
