Biography[]
Overview[]
Randy Robertson was the son of Daily Bugle editor Joseph Robertson. He grew up in New York City, New York and became friends with Daily Bugle photographer Peter Parker.
Early years[]
Randy was present at a scene where Spider-Man rescued a youth who had been high on drugs and nearly jumped from the roof of a skyscraper, believing he could fly. He was quite vocal in his opinions that substance abuse was more than just a "black issue". Through this discourse, he nearly came to blows with Norman Osborn, who took exception to Randy accusing him of living in an "ivory tower" and being ignorant of the ills of the economic underclass. [1]
Later years[]
Randy was still living in an apartment with Peter Parker when they took in a third tenant, Fred Myers, who was also the criminal known as Boomerang, though Randy was unaware of this. Both Randy and Pete hated Myers as a roommate, but agreed to tolerate him as best they could. [2]
