Randall is a fictional viral infection victim and a minor character featured in the Crossed line of comic book titles published by Avatar Press. He made a single appearance in Crossed #2 in October, 2008.
Biography[]
Randall was a survivor that managed to find shelter with Stan, Cindy and the others. He shared his food with them (cans of beans) and gave them updates on the status of other major cities. It was his belief that the best route to avoid the Crossed was by moving northwest, but by staying clear of the Canadian border.
When the group were forced to abandon the shelter, Randall was shot in the shoulder. Somehow, the wound turned him into one of the Crossed. When he fully transformed, he chased after the blind Kelly with the intent of raping her. Cindy shot Randall in the head with her shotgun, killing him. [2]
Abilities[]
- Enhanced senses: As one of the Crossed, Randall had an enhanced sense of smell, or so it appeared. Upon becoming infected, he noted that he could smell Kelly's vaginal area.
- Primal instinct: Like all members of the Crossed, Randall's core personality was submerged in favor of a violent mania and an obsession with committing obscene acts and murder.

- Randall was an adult Caucasian male. He appeared to be in his early-late forties. He had brownish gray hair and a beard. He wore his hair back in a ponytail.
