Biography[]
Ramiro Xuc was from the Republic of Costa Verde who operated by the code name of El Lobo - "The Wolf". Years ago, he led a revolution against the country's president, Juan Elmirez. He portrayed himself as being a heroic figure, fighting for the rights of his people, but in truth, he merely coveted the power of the Presidency.
Assisting him in his efforts was the Gypsy - a mysterious woman named Carmen Escudero, who possessed a green gemstone that could control the minds of others. With it, she was able to enlist the super-powered assistance of the cosmic being known as Firelord.
When Thor and Jane Foster, learned about the turmoil taking place in Costa Verde, they flew down to investigate. When El Lobo's lieutenant, Manuel, informed him of the Thunder God's presence, he barked at him to finish him off. Ultimately, Thor found himself in conflict with his old friend Firelord, before falling sway to the Gypsy's power gem himself. (Thor 246)
