The Rally of the Twelve Galaxies is a fictional event featured on the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It appeared in the second episode of season eleven of the relaunch series, "The Ghost Monument".
History[]
The Rally of the Twelve Galaxies was an intergalactic space race between competitors from various worlds. In the modern era, it was officiated by a humanoid alien named Ilin, who had been a previous winner of the race. The destination point of the rally was a desolate and dangerous world nicknamed "Desolation".
In 2018, two humanoid aliens named Epzo and Angstrom were the final competitors of the race. During the last leg of the journey, they each managed to pick up several beings who were found free-floating in outer space. This included the Doctor and the Earthlings known as Graham O'Brien, Yasmin Khan and Ryan Sinclair.
