Rachel Jana is a fictional high school coach & murder victim, and a supporting character featured in the Slumber Party Massacre film franchise. Played by actress Pamela Roylance, she appeared in the 1982 slasher film The Slumber Party Massacre.
Biography[]
Rachel Jana was a high school gym teacher who worked at Stanford High School in the early 1980s. She was the coach of the girls' varsity basketball team. Rachel was a sports enthusiast and knowledgeable of several sports including baseball and football.
One evening in May, 1981, Rachel Jana received a telephone call from one of her students, Kimberly Clark, who asked her about the results of a recent Los Angeles Dodgers game.
That same evening, Rachel went over to Trish Devereaux's house, which is where Kim had been spending the night. She ran afoul of escaped serial killer Russ Thorn, who attacked her with a large power drill. Rachel fought back against Russ, but was ultimately cut down when Russ sliced her across the abdomen with the drill. [3]
