Ra's al Ghul is a fictional crime lord and a recurring antagonist featured on the FOX Network television series Gotham. He is based on the character of Ra's al Ghul as seen in comic books published by DC Comics. This version of the character was played by actor Alexander Siddig and introduced in the the first part of the season three finale episode, "Destiny Calling" which, along with "Heavydirtysoul", was the final two chapters in the "Heroes Rise" story-arc. He took on a larger role in season four in the "A Dark Knight" storyline.
