R7-A7 is a robot character featured in the Star Wars franchise. The character was originally designed as an accessory to the "Ahsoka's Starfighter and Droids" LEGO set in 2009. The robot made it's first canonical appearance in season one of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series in episode 19, "Storm Over Ryloth". The character also appeared in the follow-up episode "Liberty on Ryloth".

R7-A7 was an astromech droid put into service during the Clone Wars. He was first assigned to the Delta-7B Aethersprite-class light interceptor piloted by Jedi padawan Ahsoka Tano on her first command mission during the Confederacy of Independent Systems' blockade of the planet Ryloth. Following the failure of the first phase of the mission, R7 was then integrated into a BTL-B Y-wing starfighter, also piloted by Tano, during the second phase of the attack on the blockade, when Ahsoka had to provide aerial support to General Anakin Skywalker's attack against a Lucrehulk-class battleship captained by the Neimoidian Mar Tuuk.
