Quentin Collins' bedroom is a fictional location featured on the original Dark Shadows television series on ABC. It is associated with a storyline known as the "1840 Flashback".
History[]
Quentin Collins bedroom was one of the forty rooms round at the Great House at Collinwood in the 19th century. It was likely the same room he used since childhood, and continued to use during the years that he was married to Samantha Drew.
The room was located on the window side of either the East or West wing, and the decor was similar to that of many of the other bedrooms. It had grey walls, a large dark-stained armoire, and a fireplace. It included a four-poster canopy bed, often adorned with a sky-blue coverlet.
Samantha had come to a decision as to which of the two men in her life she would remain committed to. Despite being married to Quentin, Samantha chose his best friend, Gerard Stiles. Samantha went to Quentin's room to inform him of her decision in private. Quentin proved to be understanding until Samantha revealed that she would be leaving Collinwood and taking their son Tad with her. Quentin refused to allow this, and Samantha told him that he was not Tad's actual father. Quentin flew into a rage and threw her onto the bed, demanding to know the identity of the father. After withdrawing, he commanded her to leave the room, but warned her that if she attempted to take Tad away from Collinwood, he would kill her. (Dark Shadows: 1128)
