Queens is the largest in area, the second largest in population, and the easternmost of the five boroughs of New York City. The borough is coextensive with Queens County, an administrative division of New York state, in the United States.
Located on the western portion of Long Island, Queens is home to two of the twenty major New York City area airports John F. Kennedy and LaGuardia; it is also the location of the New York Mets baseball team; the US Open tennis tournament; Flushing Meadows Park; Kaufman Astoria Studios; Silvercup Studios.

- Astoria is a neighborhood in the western portion of the New York City borough of Queens. Astoria is bounded by the East River and is adjacent to three other Queens neighborhoods: Long Island City to the southwest, Sunnyside to the southeast, and Woodside to the east. As of 2019, Astoria has an estimated population of 95,446.
- Midtown School of Science and Technology
- The Midtown School of Science and Technology exists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is a special technical school for students grades 9-12. One of the school's main events was the Academic Decathlon. Students who represented Midtown on this team included Peter Parker, Liz Toomes, Ned Leeds, Michelle Jones, and Flash Thompson. Peter dropped out of the decathlon due to his secret activities as Spider-Man. The school also hosted a Homecoming dance, which Liz Toomes assisted with in terms of decoration.
- Moore House for Wayward Children
- The Moore House for Wayward Children was located in Queens, New York City, New York. It was founded and operated by a woman named Mrs. Moore. In the early years of the modern age of heroes, a teenager named Jessica Campbell was brought to the Moore House after her family had been killed in an automobile accident. Mrs. Moore was very caring and sympathetic to Jessica's situation. She arranged for her to be adopted by the Jones family, and the girl legally changed her name to Jessica Jones. [2]
