The series starred Scott Bakula as Doctor Sam Beckett - a scientist who finds his essence leaping into different bodies at different points in time, trying to make right what once went wrong. Co-starring in the series is Dean Stockwell as Al Calavicci - Sam's colleague and friend, who works behind-the-scenes in an effort to bring Sam back home.
