Notes & Trivia[]
- Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, was created by writer Gerry Conway and artists Ross Andru, Frank Giacoia, and Dave Hunt. He was originally introduced as a generic villain in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man #129 in February, 1974. Following a string of scattered appearances, the Punisher received his own limited series in January, 1986. The character's popularity skyrocketed from that moment hence and he has headlined more than a dozen different titles over the years.
