A pumpkin bomb is a fictional weapon featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is the preferred weapon of choice of Norman Osborn, the original Green Goblin as well as his son and successor, Harry Osborn. They first appeared in the introductory appearance of the character in Amazing Spider-Man, Volume 1 #14 in July, 1964. In this issue, they were just regular hand grenades. They first appeared as actual pumpkin bombs in Amazing Spider-Man #17.

A pumpkin bomb is a small spherical hand grenade whose casing is in the shape and color of a pumpkin. Originally, the Green Goblin used only stun bombs, but later adopted the more colorful pumpkin bombs into his arsenal. [1]
