- "Psychokinesis! He solidified the air to cushion his descent!"
- ―Black Canary
Psychokinesis represents an individual's ability to affect things using the power of their mind. It has also been referred to as extrasensory perception (ESP). People who possess psychokinesis are generally referred to as psychics, or ESPers. Psychokinesis represents a broad range of abilities including the reception and transmission of mental energy (telepathy), the ability to move solid objects without touching them (telekinesis) or the ability to manipulate other forms of energy, such as fire (pyrokinesis). Some psychics may even possess pre or post-cognitive abilities, which is the ability to divine information about an item's past (precognition) or its future (postcognition) through simply touching it.
