"Sighting 4009: The French Incident" is the ninth episode of season one of the science fiction television series Project U.F.O. It was directed by Sigmund Neufeld and written by Donald L. Gold. It first aired on NBC on Sunday, April 30th, 1978. In this episode, Jake Gatlin and Harry Fitz are sent by the White House to investigate the alleged alien abduction of the son of a Presidential envoy.
