A priestess is kinda like a priest, except its a chick. It's considered an old world vocation and one that is not normally employed in the modern era. In current society, the closest thing we have to a priestess is a nun, but whereas priestesses are usually portrayed as young hot chicks, nuns are typically frumpy old ladies.
