This page is a stub. If you are reading this message, then that means you have come to a page about a comic book issue that is in need of additional work. There are certain key elements that are lacking from this article and thus preventing it from achieving an acceptable level of quality. This may include a lack of a cover art image, missing and/or incorrect creative team credits, missing cast lists, external links, notes and references, and so on. Once these elements have been satisfied, then this template may be removed from the page.
Now, the three core Dark Horse Predator graphic novels-Concrete Jungle, Cold War, and Dark River-and several other chilling Predator tales, some never before reprinted, are collected together for the first time, in a value-priced, quality-format omnibus, featuring over 400 explosive story pages in full color.
Written by screen and television scribe Mark Verheiden (The Mask, Battlestar Galactica) and comics legend Dan Barry and illustrated by Chris Warner, Ron Randall, Dan Barry, and others, Predator Omnibus Vol. 1 is an essential piece of the Predator mythos and a great entry point into the storied Dark Horse Predator library.
The definitive comics collection of all things Predator starts here!
Plot[]
Hunters from another world, drawn to heat and conflict. Physically superior, possessing lethal alien technology, capable of hiding in plain sight. Throughout our history, these Predators have used Earth as their own private hunting ground, haunting our battlefields and mean streets not to gain ground or to defeat tyranny, but to collect gruesome trophies. Their prey? Not lions or elephants, but the most dangerous game --- Man.

Notes & Trivia[]
- The Predator was created by director John McTiernan and screenplay writers Jim Thomas and John Thomas. They were introduced as an unidentified alien species in the 1987 sci-fi/action feature film Predator, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. This film spawned several sequels as well as crossover films with the Aliens film series. Dark Horse Comics acquired the license to produce Predator comic book titles, beginning with the first four-issue limited series, Predator in 1989.
