"Backdoors" is the eleventh episode of season two of the supernatural drama series Preacher, and the twenty-first episode of the series overall. It was directed by Norberto Barba with a script written by Sara Goodman. It first aired on Monday, August 28th, 2017 at 9:00 pm.
Plot[]
Jesse Custer is shocked to discover that the Saint of Killers is no longer trapped within the coffin where he had buried him. Tulip continues to vent her frustration at Jesse over his handling of the situation, but Jesse is determined to continue his search for God, convinced that he is on Earth and masquerading as a man in a dog costume. In Hell, Eugene continues to bond with Adolf Hitler and Hitler tells him the story of his past. Tulip leaves to destroy the Saint of Killers' weapons. As Tulip leaves, Denis realizes Cassidy likes Tulip and insists he should go after her. Tulip ships the Saint of Killers' weapons to Brazil. Herr Starr instructs F.J. Hoover to strike a bargain with the Saint of Killers.
