Power negation is a super-power. It represents an individual's ability to siphon, absorb, control or negate the superhuman abilities of another individual, animal, or creature. There are also technological devices that can duplicate a similar effect.

In Marvel Comics continuity, the mutant child known as Leech possesses this as his primary ability. Leech projects a dampening field that extends from his body for a limited range. Anyone who is within proximity of the dampening field temporarily loses their access to their super-powers. This only affects innate abilities, and does not apply to fabricated abilities, such as those provided by weapons, armor or other paraphernalia. When he was younger, this was an automatic ability, and not one that Leech could de-activate.

On the NBC television series Heroes, a character known only as The Haitian possessed this ability, as well as the ability to manipulate the memories of others.

On the FOX Network television series The Gifted, there is a mutant known as Pulse, whose ability involves the disruption of all electrical systems, including bio-electrical signals. As such, he can interrupt the process that prompts the activation of mutant abilities, including passive abilities and automatic powers, such as superhuman durability.
