On television[]
Chief O'Hara was the police chief of Gotham City on the original Batman television series from the 1960s. He was actually one of the more dimwitted police chiefs one might find, as he was always puzzled by the strange crimes taking place in the city. Without missing a beat, Chief O'Hara would gladly step aside in his duties in favor of garnering some assistance from Gotham's caped crusaders, Batman and Robin.
