The Plodex are a fictional alien race featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and are associated with the Alpha Flight line of titles. They first appeared in the form of Marrina Smallwood in Alpha Flight #1 in August, 1983. They first appeared as a race in Alpha Flight #4 in November, 1983.
