Piper Halliwell is one of the Charmed Ones, a primary character featured in the WB Network television series Charmed. Played by actress Holly Marie Combs, she first appeared in the original unaired pilot episode. Her first regular appearance in the series was the official pilot episode "Something Wicca This Way Comes". Piper appeared in all 178 episodes of the series, spanning a total of eight seasons. The character is also one of the main characters featured in the Charmed comic book series by Zenescope Entertainment.
Overview[]
Piper Halliwell is one of four sisters collectively known as the Charmed Ones. After reading from the Book of Shadows, Piper inherited the powers of her late grandmother, a witch. Piper inherited molecular immobilization, the ability to 'freeze' objects and beings in motion by slowing down their molecular movement rate to such a point where they appear not to move. Along with her sisters, Prue and Phoebe, she used her powers for the benefit of helping others.
