"The Man With No Heart!" is the title to the first story featured in issue #14 of the second Phantom Stranger ongoing comic book series published by DC Comics. The story was written by Len Wein with artwork and inks by Jim Aparo. It was colored by Tom Nicolosi and lettered by Jim Aparo. The second story features Doctor Thirteen and is called "The Spectre of the Stalking Swamp!" It was written by Len Wein with artwork and inks by Tony DeZuniga. It was colored by Tom Nicolosi and lettered by Milt Snapinn. Both stories were edited by Joe Orlando. This issue shipped with an August, 1971 cover date and carries a cover price of .15 cents per copy.
This issue is reprinted in black and white in the Showcase Presents: Phantom Stranger, Volume 1 trade paperback collection, released in December, 2006.
The character of Doctor Terrence Thirteen was created by artist & inker Leonard Starr. He first appeared in his own series of vignette stories beginning with "I Talked With the Dead" from Star-Spangled Comics #122 in November, 1951. The writer who helmed Doctor Thirteen's introductory story is unknown.
