Peter Serafinowicz is a British actor born in Liverpool, England on July 10th, 1972. His first work in the sci-fi genre was providing voices for several characters in the Star Wars mythos, most notably, that of Darth Maul in the 1999 film Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Serafinowicz also provided the voice for a battle droid commander and a Gungan scout.

In 2006, Serafinowicz provided the voice of Darth Chef in the "Return of Chef" episode of South Park, an obvious parody of the Sith Lord character, Darth Vader.

In the British comedy series Spaced co-starring Star Trek actor Simon Pegg, Serafinowicz played the role of Duane Benzie and spoke Darth Maul's famous line from The Phantom Menace, "At last we will have revenge".
