Peter Serafinowicz is a British actor born in Liverpool, England on July 10th, 1972. His first work in the sci-fi genre was providing voices for several characters in the Star Wars mythos, most notably, that of Darth Maul in the 1999 film Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Serafinowicz also provided the voice for a battle droid commander and a Gungan scout.

- In 2006, Serafinowicz provided the voice of Darth Chef in the "Return of Chef" episode of South Park, an obvious parody of the Sith Lord character, Darth Vader.
- In the British comedy series Spaced co-starring Star Trek actor Simon Pegg, Serafinowicz played the role of Duane Benzie and spoke Darth Maul's famous line from The Phantom Menace, "At last we will have revenge".
