Peter Doyle is a fictional murder victim and a minor character featured in the Sleepaway Camp film series. Played by actor Jarrett Beal, he appeared in the 1989 film Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland.
Biography[]
Peter Doyle was an African American boy born in Houston Heights, Houston, Texas around the year 1974. As a teenager, Peter's lifestyle took him to the wrong side of the tracks, and as a result, he was sent to Camp New Horizons to participate in their "experiment in sharing" event. Peter attached himself to other troubled teens such as Arab, Snowboy and Riff.
Although troublesome, Peter's behavior was more prankish in nature than mean-spirited. When fellow camper Maria Nicastro tried to teach Peter and another boy named Snowboy how to fish, Peter amused himself by shoving a firecracker into a fish's mouth, which scared Maria.
What Peter didn't know, was that Maria Nicastro was actually an alias used by a wanted serial killer named Angela Baker. That evening, when Peter and Snowboy bedded down in their sleeping bags, Angela shoved a firecracker into Peter's mouth and lit it, causing his face to explode.
