Virginia "Pepper" Potts is a fictional company executive and part-time superhero featured in the Iron Man multimedia franchise based on the comic book series developed by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Stan Lee and artist Don Heck and was introduced in "The Icy Fingers of Jack Frost" story from Tales of Suspense #45. In the Iron Man feature film series and The Avengers, she is played by actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
