The Peacemaker is an American ongoing comic book series of the superhero fantasy genre. It was published by Charlton Comics and ran for five issues from March to November, 1967. The series features Christopher Smith, aka, the Peacemaker - a diplomat and colleague of the Central Intelligence Agency, who loves peace so much that he's willing to fight for it.

- Christopher Smith first appeared in the second story from Fightin' 5 #40 in November, 1966 in a story called "Introducing: The Peacemaker". He was the back-up feature in Fightin' 5 #41 as well before branching off into his own series.
- All five issues of this series were reprinted in black and white in the Peacemaker Readers Collection by Gwandanaland Comics in 2016.
- This series was reprinted as Peacemaker, Vol. 2 by Modern Comics in 1978.
- A Peacemaker mini-series was produced by DC Comics and ran as a four-issue limited series from January-April, 1988.
- Silver Age Pre-DC stories involving the Peacemaker have been retroactively attributed to the multiverse reality designated Earth-Four.
- The Fightin' 5 appeared as back-up stories throughout this series.
- Christopher Smith made his first alternate media debut in 2021 in the live-action feature film The Suicide Squad. He was played by actor and professional wrestler John Cena. This character spun out into his own Peacemaker TV series in 2022 on HBO Max. Cena reprised the role in the series.
- The "Peace Maker" was the name of a baseball bat used by Owen Knopfler in the 1985 horror movie Silver Bullet.
- "Peacemaker" is also the name of a baseball bat used by Tommy Jarvis in the 2021 film Halloween Kills.
