Patricia "Patty" Halliwell is a fictional witch and a recurring character on the WB Network television series Charmed. Played by British actress Finola Hughes, she was introduced in the 17th episode of season one, "That '70s Episode" and appeared in nine episodes in total between seasons 1-8. The character died many years prior to the beginning of the series, but has been seen in flashbacks, time travel sequences and as a spirit.
Biography[]
Patty Halliwell was the mother of "The Charmed Ones" - three daughters which consists of Prudence Halliwell, Piper Halliwell and Phoebe Halliwell, whom she had with then-husband Victor Bennett. Her mother, Penny Halliwell, was also a witch, descended from the Warren line of witches. Her father was Allen Halliwell. Her grandparents were Gordon Johnson and Priscilla Baxter.
