Patsey West is a fictional nurse and murder victim and a supporting character featured in the Halloween film franchise. Played by actress Betty Carvalho, she appeared in the 1989 film sequel Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers.
Biography[]
Patsey West was a nurse who hailed from the town of Haddonfield in Livingston County, Illinois. She worked at the Haddonfield Children's Clinic. In October of 1989, Patsey West administered care to a new patient named Jamie Lloyd, who had been rendered mute as a result of trauma, having narrowly survived being murdered by her psychopathic uncle, Michael Myers.
On October 31st, Halloween night, Michael came to the clinic looking for Jamie. He murdered Patsey West as well as Doctor Max Hart. [1]

- The character of Patsey West was created by director Dominique Othenin-Girard and writers Michael Jacobs and Shem Bitterman based on concepts developed by John Carpenter and Debra Hill.
- In the film, the character is identified in the credits as Nurse Patsey. Her surname is provided on her name tag in the film itself.
- Patsey West is the ninth murder victim featured in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. She is the third female shown dead in the movie after Rachel Carruthers and Samantha Thomas.
