Biography[]
Patrice was a French colonial man who lived in the territory that would one day become Castle Rock, Maine in the year 1619. He was a follower of Amity Lambert, who was allegedly a prophet for an angel that would show them the way to prosperity and salvation. As a part of Amity's cult, Patrice was convinced that by surrendering their bodies, their souls would rise again to a new world four-hundred years later. Patrice and the rest of Amity's followers all engaged in mass suicide.
In the year 2019, Patrice's spirit was resurrected in a new vessel. He took possession of a Jerusalem's Lot police officer named Boucher.
