Paradise Island is a fictional island featured in comics and related media pertaining to the character of Wonder Woman. It first appeared in Sensation Comics #1 in January, 1942.
Description[]
Paradise Island is located in the Atlantic Ocean, somewhere in or near the Bermuda Triangle. It is the home of a race of women known as the Amazons, whose lifespans are effectively immortal so long as they remain on the island, however they do age. If an Amazon were to leave Paradise Island, they would the age at normal human rate until such as point as they return to the island. One of the most notable aspects of Paradise Island's populace is that it is comprised solely of women. Men are not allowed to step foot on Paradise Island, though exceptions have been made from time to time, such as Steve Trevor.
