Biography[]
Papa Sugar was a voodoo practitioner operating in the New Orleans area of Louisiana. He owned a business called Papa Sugar's Voodoo Shop. Laura Lochs was known to purchase magical components and potions from him.
Cassie Hack went to Papa Sugar's place to get info on Laura Lochs, who had used the Heart of Damballa to switch bodies with her colleague, Vlad. Laura had already warned Papa Sugar that Cassie would be paying him a visit, and told him to "have fun with her". He sprayed Cassie in the face with a paralytic that left her unable to move. His intention was to sexually assault her, but what Sugar didn't realize was that Cassie had teamed up with Chucky, which was a Good Guys doll possessed by the spirit of deceased serial killer Charles Lee Ray. Chucky tried using a voodoo doll on Papa Sugar, but when that didn't work, he picked up a nail gun and shot him multiple times. After killing Sugar, Chucky injected Cassie with a serum that reversed the paralytic.
