Biography[]
Harris Comics[]
Pantha was a humanoid alien from the planet Drakulon. She was a shape-shifter who could morph her body into the form of a black panther. For a time she was a mental patient at a little known mental health facility called the Danse Macabre Institution. While there, she witnesses and suffered unspeakable events conducted in the name of science. Pantha broke out and began hunting down the men responsible. Tracking each one until she could isolate them, she would then transform into her panther form before their eyes before eviscerating and dismembering them. [2]
Dynamite Entertainment[]
Pantha was an aspect of the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet, who represented pestilence, warfare, and destruction. Following years of blind rage and gruesome murder against men, women, and children, the Sun God Ra gave Sekhmet the chance to redeem herself. Ra divided Sekhmet into different aspects of herself, forcing each one to wander the earth in service of unending penance. The last living aspect of Sekhmet became known as Pantha. [3]
