Owen Lars was a supporting character featured in the Star Wars franchise. He was introduced in the original 1977 film Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope where he was played by actor Phil Brown. A younger version of the character, played by Joel Edgerton, appeared in the second installment of the prequel trilogy, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Edgerton reprised the role of Owen Lars for a brief appearance at the end of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
