"The Gun" is the the third episode of season six of the 1995 iteration of the science fiction anthology series The Outer Limits. It is the 112th episode in the series overall. The episode was directed by Jeff Woolnough with a script written by Sam Egan. It first aired on Showtime on Friday, January 28th, 2000.
