"Promised Land" is the the twenty-first episode of season four of the 1995 iteration of the science fiction anthology series The Outer Limits. It is the eighty-third episode in the series overall. The episode was directed by Neill Fearnley with a teleplay written by Brad Markowitz based on a story treatment by Markowitz and Brad Wright. It first aired on Showtime on Friday, August 21st, 1998.
