"Target Generation" is the thirteenth episode of season one of the British science fiction anthology series Out of This World. It was directed by Alan Cooke and written by Clifford D. Simak. It first aired on ABC Television in the UK on September 15th, 1962. This story was first published in the August, 1953 edition of Science Fiction Plus. It was later collected in Simak's 1956 collection Strangers in the Universe. The episode deals with a colony ship whose occupants have been living upon it for generations spanning more than nine-hundred years.
