Osborn Industries is a fictional business featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and is associated with the Spider-Man line of comic titles. It first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man, Volume 1 #37 in June 1966.
Description[]
Osborn Industries was a corporate entity founded by the Osborn family as well as a man named Mendel Stromm. For most of its existence, it has been headed up by Norman Osborn. It is here that Norman Osborn developed his Goblin Glider and pumpkin bomb technology. Osborn Industries owned the science hall where Peter Parker was first bitten by a radioactive spider that gave him his super-powers.
A time went on, Osborn Industries' influence grew on a multinational level until it developed into the larger Oscorp company.
