Orville Latimer is a fictional vigilante and a minor antagonist featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is associated with the Man-Thing line of titles and first appeared in Man-Thing, Volume 1 #17 in May, 1975 in a story titled "A Book Burns in Citrusville!"
Biography[]
Orville Latimer was a resident of the town of Citrusville, Florida. He was a member of a vigilante group who sought to hunt down not only the legendary Man-Thing, but also the psychotic serial killer who called himself The Mad Viking as well.

- Rifle: Orville Latimer carried a hunting rifle, which is a step up from the usual torch and pitchfork utilized by most southeastern U.S. lynch mobs.
