Biography[]
Orkla was a member of a race of Amazons that hailed from a domed city in the far future. She was loyal to Queen Kyra, who had usurped the scepter of power from her cousin, Princess Deeda.
Kyra, Orkla, and another Amazon named Tarla traveled back in time to the 20th century to abduct strong able-bodied males to bring forward into the future so they could participate in gladiatorial combat. At first, Orkla and Tarla concentrated their efforts on capturing a lumberjack named Bert, but they soon discovered a more viable champion in the form of a hairy giant - Bigfoot. Using their nets, Orkla and Tarla were able to ensnare Bigfoot and Queen Kyra mentally enslaved him with a mind control headband.
Princess Deeda employed the aide of Bigfoot's friends, Wildboy and Suzie, and together they were able to free Bigfoot and capture the Amazons. When Deeda took possession of the scepter, she brought the traitorous Amazons back to their own time where they were imprisoned.
