Oneiromancy is the ability to interpret and manipulate dreams. This may include self-observation from one's own dreams, and the ability to control them, but it may also involve the ability to perceive and/or interact with the dreams of others. Highly powerful individuals may even possess the ability to enter and leave the realm of dreams, or "dreamscape", and can control the dreams of others. Such an ability is the trademark of Morpheus of the Endless. The Golden Age DC Comics superhero, Wesley Dodds had the power of prophetic dreaming - a skill that he passed down to his protege, Sanderson Hawkins. A deceased serial murderer known as Fred Krueger became the spiritual representation of the nightmare realm, and was able to murder innocent victims through their dreams.
